Google today announced releasing hot trends on fastest rising searches on Google, at any given hour, for 40 hottest search terms. The temperature ranges from Volcanic, On Fire and Spicy (just try women Halloween costumes). This is currently available for users in US and Japan. The results also provide location of the trends (ah ha) and distribution too.
Google only 2 years from entering into the (troublesome) Teens and long time before maturity (I am kidding? right?).

This week Google created a wave, at least in blogosphere and twitter universe, with the beta launch of Sidewiki. This browser plugin lets a website visitor leave comments on any website that other visitors with Sidewiki enabled can view when they visit the website.

We turned to Google Search Insights to look at the trend in online search for keywords like “9/11″, “September 11″, “Osama bin laden” and “Al Qaeda” both within the US and Worldwide.
